Government Support Services is excited to offer a refreshed and expanded compliment of training opportunities geared towards those who buy or handle formal bids on behalf of a State Agency, Town, Municipality, K-12, and Higher Education.

Procurement Basics: During this informative session we will explain:

  • Existing Contracts – when & how to use them;
  • How to purchase when there is no existing Mandatory Use contract;

  • Identify key players and understand their role & responsibilities;
  • Solicitation types;
  • Scope and Market Basket development;
  • Third party review considerations;
  • Planning and timelines;
  • Filling in Best Practice templates; and
  • Best practice outreach.

Eligible Entity groups (K-12, Higher Ed, Towns, etc.) employees can register for Procurement Training through EventBrite. EventBrite has currently capped capacity at 25.
